Help me, I'm new.

Hi everyone, I'm new to BF2 and I was wondering if you could give me some advice.

I'm looking to try and find some servers that are focusing on the squad tactics and teamplay. I can't find any servers where there is strong squad leadership or much co-operation within a team. It's frustrating to join a squad and then there is absolutely no communication between it's members. I don't think i have the time or skill (yet) to look at joining a clan, but if you know of a clan that has a fun team based game going on, then i'd like to check their server out. Thanks.

Believe it or not, that's a big request! I enjoy the EA [WSS] ranked servers, the first is all maps and 2nd is city fighting. Another tip for you is to look for, or create your own squad and label it 'VOICE.' People that use VOIP tend to work together a lot better.

Ya I know there seems to be a lot of threads with people complaining about the lack of teamwork that is going on. Thanks for the suggestion, that's the type of thing i was hoping for. Another thing i was wondering about, is if i find some guys that are good squad mates, is there a way i can look to see if they are online and which server they are playing? Again, i'm new. Be patient with me.

If memory serves my right its BF2tactics.com or .net that run unranked but really organized games to the point that if you dont follow orders you get the boot. As far as ranked servers like mentioned make a squad called VOICE, VoIP, TEAMWORK with these names it's implied that your into teamwork. When I've done this I get some good guys and have more fun. Just remeber thats its your job to command use common sense in your decisions and try to spawn as medic or support since as medic you keep your guys alive and as support you'll keep them armed since you'll likly have one or to anti-armor guys and spec-op you need ammo like crazy.
