    [RELEASE] BF2SM v0.1 BETA

    BF2SM v0.1 BETA Released - July 29th 2005

    BF2SM is a tool to manage your Battlefield 2 server from outside the game. It requires no software or scripts to be installed on the server and only requires the remote console to be enabled. This means you don't have to remember long console commands and you can make space for yourself on the server from outside the game.

    BF2SM has the following features:

    * Kick/ban players
    * Listmaps
    * Run next map / restart map
    * Pause game
    * Global server announcements or to individual teams
    * View / clear ban list
    * Add / remove key hashes to bans list
    * Issue remote console commands

    If you have any problems please post so I can rectify them. Hope you enjoy the program. BF2SM is bought to you by www.bf2online.net

    Do you have plans to enable admins to see the text that runs on the top left of the game screen? Or does it already do that and I couldn't find it?

      Currently the Batlefield 2 remote console engine doesn't support this so I'm afraid its not possible for me to add this feature. If EA were to release a new patch that changes this I will include it.

          The password is the same as the Remote Console password.

          If remote console is not enabled on your server here is how to enable it:

          On the server create a new plain text document in \admin\ called
          default.cfg and enter the following text into the new file:

          port=4711

          password=YourPassword

          Save the file, and start the server.

          To connect with BF2SM start the program and enter the server IP and remote console port in the relevant boxes.
          (This is the port you saved in the text file)

          Now enter your password and press connect! It’s as easy as that.

                the bf2cc needs an install file ont he sevrer ftp, when you have a ranked server, so this will have to do.

                A bug i noticed in this is that it doesnt show the entire player list, i dont know if they was pointed out by anyone.
