Problem w/ BF2 SS attached

When i click the shortcut the tittle screen comes and after that a black screen w/ that BF2 error what is that suppost to mean? i justt bought an ATI x850 xt platinum edition w/ the latest drivers. (SS attached)

Have you tried to reinstall the game? Because if you just installed that video card without reinstalling BF2, the game wont recognize the card.

If you just installed the new card you need to COMPLETELY remove bf2 from ur computer and reinstall

Instead of removing the whole game just remove the BF2 folder in my documents, the whole folder, then start the game and it will go through the paces of recognizing everything. This info was from an EA tech. Will save on the uninstall/reinstall crap.
