Last night I was playing on a server that was alittle empty so I had plenty of chances to play with the plane. So I hopped in a flew around for around 15 minutes getting my avaitor badge and eventually my airborne ribbon. I then decided since I flew so long that I'd give someone else a chance so I started pounding ground as usual. Anyways it was a long round and pretty boring after awhile so I decided to quit alittle bit before the round was over. So then I logged of totally and called it a night. When I woke up this morning to play a quick round my badge and ribbon weren't there. So I played a quick round and earned the badge and ribbon again and after the end of the match I left and checked the stats and the badge and ribbon was there. So do you have to finish or did something screw up?

Nope, I dont think you have to finish a round to get your stats or medals but how did you exit your game cuz I know if you crash or press alt F4 to exit they wont save (Happened to me
)

You need to finish the round to get you points and badges, etc...
Nothing like having a great round just to have the connection drop...

I just hit esc and clicked disconnect. Then just clicked quit like usual. It was kinda odd. Another wierd thing with the badges is that I haven't been able to get the spec ops badge until this morning. I know everywhere I look it says I need 10 kills but I usually get 20 or 30 and still didn't get it. I think you can get them even with a disconnect.
I hit Corporal last night on Karkand and just after my rocket blew up a LAV for the promotion and I saw the little promotion thingy in the top-right, my connection died(buzzkill!), so I waited about 10 minutes, logged back in and boom, I was a corporal.Comment

Hmm I guess I'll write it off as one of those fun wierd game things. This is my second account and I've had a few of these wierd issues. Last night, the spec ops badge, and I got promoted to lance corporal 3 times before it actually gave me the rank. :laugh:Comment

I think it's a "glitch" in the stat tracking. I've had the exact same problem....I earned my sniper basic, spec ops basic, and ground defense basic in one round. I had been playing approximately 30 minutes or longer. Wife had dinner on the table, I escaped, diconnected and bolted to grab grub.
Came back later and none of my awards were there.
Took me all night after that to earn the damn things again...... :evil:Comment
