    Airplane ammo reload bug

    MotherBoard Type: Asus
    32bit or 64 Bit: 32
    Operating System: XP
    32bit or 64 Bit: 32
    Video Card: Leadtek GF 6600GT
    Driver Version: Nvidia 77.72
    Sound Card: Soundblaster 1024
    Driver Version: ?
    RAM: 1GB
    Model and Speed: Kingston
    DVD Model: Pioneer
    CD Model: Ricoh
    Install Path: C:\games\BF2

When flying over airbases to reload your airplane, sometimes the reload icon and sounds will not appear even though the airplane has infact been reloaded.

I have found this to only happen when I have dropped bombs and they need to be reloaded (no air-to-air's fired). It only happens when air-to-air's are selected as active weapon and only bombs are being loaded.

It happens every time using this combination. When I have selected bombs as active weapon, this does not happen.

Can anyone confirm and notify EA (or are they watching)?

The icon and sound only appear on what is being loaded. Therefore, if you have missiles selected and none have been fired, you will hear no sound. The same goes for bombs and as infantry I might add. This is not a bug.

Okay, but then you'll have no idea if you have been reloaded by a passing vehicle with support infantry onboard for example?

      That seems odd to me.
