    Getting a mod added?

How does one go about getting a mod added to the mod section on the forums? I sent a PM to Ace and Rico and havent seen it added so Im just curious what it takes? I think we have a mod that many of you would like to play.

      Operation Noble Dawn

Operation Noble Dawn is a semi-realistic modification for the game Battlefield 2. It builds on the existing game adding a need for teamwork in a fast paced operation. The key element of the modification is that the players can effect the progress of the operation - if your team loses a map you will be pushed back an area, if you win you will move on. We hope to expand this to allow the commanders to choose which is the next map they play on if they win a round. The modification is built by 16AA unit members, in an attempt to play the sort of games that they like - the tasks have been split down amongst the very talented members of the unit, in order to deliver the best mod possible. Many members of the unit are active or ex-service members of either Military or Police forces around the world.

      Operation Noble Dawn, Mod Features:

The development of Operation Noble Dawn will be done in four phases (so you'll get pieces of the below feature set delivered from time to time, not in one large pack! For more details see the forums as we will release our development plans there.

      i) Realistic Weapon Dynamics, health and stamina bars. Reduced height when jumping. [Almost Complete!]

ii) Perma death (or four minute respawn) from round to round [making things more realistic!] - if you die in any eight minute round you will have to wait until either one side is wiped out, one side holds all the objectives or the time runs out. This will force teams to play more as a team and not as "rambo."[Almost Complete!]

iii) Operation Movement : if you win on a round then your team will move forward a map, if you lose you'll move back a map - all of which will be tracked on this website.

iv) Focus on Infantry and support roles, reduced numbers of vehicles in game (although jeeps/tanks/aircraft will be available on certain maps.)

      v) Sixteen New Maps; created by our in house mapping team to take the different sides through the campaign in a fully realistic environment.

vi) Realistic Kit selections - people won't be carrying around ten anti-tank weapons.. so use your items carefully! [Almost Complete!]
