"This Server only allows Unmodified content..."

    WTGDMF!?!?!?!

I haven't done SQUAT to my install. And now I can't join ranked servers anymore?

I am getting so fvcking sick and tired of uninstalling, reinstallling, uninstallling, reinstalling this fvcking game.

Is something up with EA's server's again?!

So what now? I stop playing for a few days and now it won't work?

I swear, if they don't fix ALL the major bugs by next year's E3, I'm going to bring my BF2 game, goto Dice's booth, throw the game on the floor and demand my money back from the nearest Dice rep.

Well Ed, sounds like you need to settle down. DICE is well aware of all of the major bugs, and if you've been anywhere within earshot of a BF2 community, then you'd see that the end of August will bring 1.03 which features 140+ fixes amd tweaks, and counting!

Now onto your question. Did you happen to re-name the videos at the begining to skip them? Some people say this can do it (although I have them renamed and never get this error). Also make sure to turn off AV and firewall as they can cause errors such as this.

G'day Hirogen back from work trip - I've been able to get on a couple of servers, however, still recieve unmodified content on a regular basis. I run checksum and I know the Object_client.zip folder still gives an error reading. However, I tried regardless as Sithlord did and was able to play a couple of servers - If i could just rectify that Oject_client.zip I'd be Ok. Let us know as soon as possible how you have managed to overcome the unmodified content issue.

        Cheers Kelloggs :|:

Settle down? This is only one of many many many problems I've had with BF2, along with everyone and their grandmother.

And yes, I am well aware of the upcoming patch. And I am willing to bet that it will not fix the majority of the problems.

And I'll bet I still won't be able to play in widescreen without a fvkcing ridiculous workaround.

And I find it continually amusing that game companies are recommending disabling basic security features to play their shoddy software.

So, I guess it's another reinstall yet again.
