    3.4 ghz with wicked connection.
I´ve even been able to run into the enemy base and steal a tank because only 1 enemy had spawned yet.

mine does that too sometimes. dunno why.

ewww, ebuyer. i hate that place. they have stupid return rules. don't buy from them unless you are 100% sure thats what you want. I bought a headset by Creative from ebuyer and i didn't like it. I can't return it because they have this huge list of companies that they won't accept returns for their stuff.

Yeah I used to be one of the first in but then the client data went from 30secs to about 4mins. So i tried defraged my HD, I checked for errors, ran norton, and a webroot spy sweeper. Nothing helped so I reformated the HD, now it takes about minute and thirty seconds. Better but not like it used to be.

my comp loads the maps in litterally like 5 seconds, but then the verification comes for some reason that takes like 1-2 minutes or so

                    Numbers.... i hate them

bloogy all these computers with their 32x16x7000 FSB 500,000 Lc cache socket chipsets on a toasted sandwich motherboard running with 2 scotch eggs of memory (2.18 eggs) extreme edition

                    gets right on my nerves

just no point in it tbh, when '1gb PC3200' will do, people will write '1 gig pc not mac 3200 sup4brand ddr ram with the dual channel'

and, not to be picking on you mr bigsmith, but just taking your processor as an example here
                    'intel celeron d 335 prescott 533mhz FSB 256kb l2 cache socket 478(2.8)' -

                    'Celeron 533' -

The raptors are the key for those of us getting in first, not vidcard, and only somewhat processor.

Two 74gig 10krpm raptors in raid 0 = first person on the map.

I love it, usually guarantees that I get my attack copter at least one round per map, except when the server decides to spawn me at the furthest point from the helipad, then spawns some slowpoke biatch right at it.

Striped 15k scsi drives would be even a hair better, but at significant cost. :-)

I'd say I'm in the top 10 or so loading wise, specs are in sig.

It takes about 30 seconds to load, and 1 minute to verify..

-edit- Oh, and I have some generic Maxtor 7200 rpm hard drive.

mines arpund 30 secs to load map and around 20 - 30 to verify
                            So slow realy
but then my ping is all ways
                            5 - 20 on a UK server
                            15 - 30 on Europe ( depends were it is )
                            70 - 110 in America

So my loading times slow and my ping is low

                            LOL

You want to know why? You got a defrag as part of the install.
