    Ok..... I HAVE MADE A BRIDGE!!!!! one problem for me to put this in my bf2 map when those tools come out. I just made it like a size in gmax i have no clue whats going to happen? like can i make it bigger in the editor? and also the texture do I texture it in the editor? and last thing do I export my finished modle as a .P3D file? cuz thats the only option under export. Any help would be great. Thanks

      After im done my modle in Gmax i go file export and the only option is a P3D will I beable to use those in the bf editor?

          Ok...now that is solved.....is there any way to open a dds texture file? and also what about the size of my new modle? how do I know if it will be in scale?

            the scaling is kinda up for grabs at the moment.. I'm not entirely sure about it.. the dds texture stuff is done in photoshop
            you need the nvidia dds plugin for it.

              I don't recommend the nvidia plugins, they suck and are hard to use imo. Use the real stuff, this got me started on skinning for flight sims. It shows the alpha channel in a little box in either black or white, and exports every .dds texture type, including all of the DXT file formats also. Look for DXTbmp, or

                Yup or that.. i've used it before and totally forgot about it.. thanks for the reminder frosty.. i still got it on my comp somewhere
