any realistic BF2 style games from other COs on the horizon?

are there any new titles out there on the horizon that have all the vehicles and command and control structure functions like bf2 , but focus less on cheezy gameplay and more on realism?
Theres a huge demand ,especially from clans, to have a total battlefield experience that focuses on creating as real of a battlefield experience as possible.
BF2 looks the part, but once you start a game thats where the illusion ends.
id really like to start working on getting out of BF2 and redirecting my engergies twords a title more suited to a mature military sim FPS unit

Bohemia is working on a title that is very promising. They are the guys that made Operation Flashpoint, the best military sim for PC.

Well, without getting a new game there is a mod for BF2 and a totally new game that I think looks good is Enemy in Sight. Other than that I am not aware of any too much....besides Operation Flashpoint 2, that might come out in a year or something like that. (don't quote me on that)

Dont worry there are gonna be so many MODS for this game youll be lucky if you can choose between which one you want. There's always realism mods and everything itll come soon.

Yeah overall I think going for mods is your best chance, but once those two games I mentioned come out I definantly reccomend them.

I will wait to see. Atari is making a come back it seems. With Act of War, and now this, I will wait like I said, but it looks promising....unless EA buys Atari, lol.
