    wicked squad setup.

The squad's were built into this game for a reason..TEAM WORK. If you take a squad there are 6 slots avaible this means if you want to win a game.... people acutally use squads and each squad contains.

Sniper - He can pick off those "HARD TO REACH TARGETS"

Medic- Heal you up and retrive you...... never should be in combat unless yo really have to.

Support - Deliver ammo to squad members and can also lay down suppressive fire to get from point A - B.

Assault - these are the combat people that want shoot up every thing they have extra armor for a reason and also can deliver a smoke for quick fire.

Spec Ops - You can have these in your squad for assault but they do not have body armor or smoke but can take out the commanders assists.

Anti Tank - Just incase some pesky armor comes lurking around or if a jeep is hauling ass at your squad.

With that squad setup your squad is pretty much invinsible if you have a good squad leader and play safe. The engineer calss can be substutied for the spec ops to repair stuff or use his shotty for close up but spec ops is awalys handy for anything...

Try and get a group for friends and try this out... you kick some serious ass and that sniper really comes in handy. Also dont wander to far apart and use voip to communicate.

I find that having 1 medic, 1 support, 1 special ops, 1 engineer and 2 assault was my best combination. Then again I play a like of Strike at Karkand so I would not need a sniper all that much =D

EDIT - Oh yes, good idea to maybe swap out the engy for an Anti-Tank personel, depending if you want to lead your squad into the thick of enemy motorized routes.

yes, however somethimes it is better too have more than just 1 of each such as in Operation clean sweep there is really no use for an assault on that map so you should make him either an engineer or another anti tank.

I'd like to see more bf2 played like this....this has the potential of a real real good team game.

This is how I would set it up.

          1- Assault.
          2- Spec Ops
          1- Med
          2- AT

Support... worthless, Sniper... worthless, Engineer... worthless.

2 good spec op shooters are just as effective as snipers IMO.

1 AT vs a Tank is dumb, you need 2.

          Assault... for the m203's/GP-30's

          And Medic for the reviving/healing.

            Best I've seen was...

            1x Support
            1x Medic
            2x Anti-Tank
            2x Special Forces

As long as your team is smart enough to pick up the medic's pack when he dies (and revive him), you're unstoppable.

1 support - Who stays behind to provide the enemy a target to shoot at and provide suppresive fire for his team, as well as ammo.
1 medic - Who advances with the squad when taking a specific objective.
1 AT - Who advances with the squad to take out any enemy armor.
2 SpecOps - Who lead the squad, because, let's face it, SpecOps can destroy anything except aircraft (unless they land).
1 Assault - Just in case you need to peg someone from a distance.

*The assault can be swapped for a sniper depending on the map.

Engineer is completely useless unless the map you're playing favors a lot of armor, like Fushe Pass, Shongua Stalemate, even Karkand.

As far as the Support goes, you won't need him for ammo if you're planning on DYING before you run out. I don't plan on dying. I've run a squad like this for 3 rounds straight. We needed ammo.

Support and Med's are kinda useless. If you're with a group (like guys from your clan) all you need to do is use the squad feature to its fullest potential.

I don't feel like dying or running out of ammo.

I don't know if I'd say support is worthless. With PKM, and the ability to resupply the noobcannons, the support kit is quite useful.

Best combo on city maps is usually a couple medics, support, and assault or spec ops. Assault isn't much different from medic except they get the noobcannon and armor. But if you run around in a squad anyone who sees you will definetly get scared and maybe only pick off one of you before they die. In which case you would revive your teammate.

                          Test...?

We should test these teams out and see which is more effective like setup a passworded server and test it out...i personally think:
                          2XAsaault
                          2XAnti Tank
                          1XMedic
1XSpec-Ops But hey we all have different reasons for this, as SaladFork said:
