Hey. I installed the patch and the game doesnt wanna run. It did without the patch. Does anybody know what is the problem?

I am having the same problem as pringle. I downloaded 1.02, and now the game won't even run. Can someone please help? To show my gratitude for who does, I could send you a dollar. :) -

You guys will probably have to be a little more specific if you want anyone to help. "It doesn't wanna run" doesn't tell much.
What exactly is happening? When in the game is it crashing/not working/whatever? What kind of hardware do you have?
Once you have posted that info, then someone can tell you that you are screwed....Comment

When I try to start the game, I get a black screen, and then it goes back to the desktop.
So, I don't get to see the EA Games opening, etc.
My hardware consists of:
ATI Radeon 9800 XT Pro 256 MB
1GB Corsair Memory
AMD Athlon XP 3000+
NVidia nForce MCP Networking Controller
240 GB Western Digital HDComment

Okay, when trying to start, I get this message before it goes back to desktop:
memory.dll: thread 1540 is deallocating main thread memory
When I hit Okay to that message, it says:
The instruction at "0x10001ddc" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate the program.Comment
