I think that peoples are really annoyed by snipers. In a round I am the target of artillery strikes 3-4 times. They usually get me 2 times on 4. I am not the best sniper (around 40-50 points per round) but I think that I am good enough to piss off people.

What seems to make people more furious, is to be head snipe by me, then their medic comes by, revive and the poor guy do not have time to stand up again, BANG ! Headshot. I would really like to do it 3-4 time in a row. I should just not snipe the medic too !

Sometimes a commander will make the arty available to the squads. Nobody wants it. Then there's no good target that doesn't risk a TK and of course a punish. Therefore the poor snipers are the only target left. I like to zoom all the way in on the sniper if I arty him. He stands up and runs around like a chicken with his head cut off.

Yep, the Sniper is a prime target for artillery because usually they position themselves in a location that is hard for infantry to take out (i.e. on-top of buildings, towers, etc)

An alternative would be to call in a chopper to take them out, but the artillery strike is a quicker solution..

Not to mention those guilie suits actually do their job sometimes when used intelligently, and make you kinda hard to see by someone in a chopper...

Too many times it's too easy to tk and which would you rather have? 2-3 Artillery kills which don't seem to add to ur points and 1-2 tks which equal lots of negative points.

Artillery is like a magnet to the iron filings that is your team.

Or the ez sniper = 1 kill, no tk.

Last night I camped at the end of the USMC runway on Kubra Dam.... I was taking out all the nub plane whores, and the commander got so sick of me, he artied me. I respawned on my SL, ran 50m and camped again. I was artied again. I saved my team a lot of deaths.

I was almost impressed lastnight ..

I was sitting there spotting/annoying an enemy CP. I had about 8 kills at this point and suddenly I am dead. I am sitting there looking at this supply crate on my screen. At first I figured the enemy commander was smart enough to save the artillery and just crush me with a crate ... then I decided to see if it was my commander that was just attempting to help me out (which I had not asked for the supply drop). Sure enough he had dropped the crate without actually aiming it. He felt bad, but his intention was good. I told him "Well better you did it than the enemy commander.. if he was smart enough for that, we would be in big trouble!"

I rather take out the one sniper on a high roof with arty than risk Tking all the teammates.

Sometimes the teammates RUSH into the arty with a chance to get me kicked or banned from server. I save the ARTY for certain moments and the distance to the nearest friendly IS a factor now.

I enjoy targeting a sniper or several prone on a roof. I am entertained by thier pathetic attempts at finding cover.
