    engineer new kit?

Since the engineer kinda sucks ass with a shotgun and can't kill anything.. why not make them more usefull by giving them a difusal kit?

specials ops see enemy assests, medic sees team health... why not have engineer see enemy C4, land mines, ect.. and be able to defuse them. Say it takes 3 seconds to defuse and you get a point like medic does for healing.

Other than that.. I find no use for them at all. Shotgun is a close ranged weapon and by the time you get close to someone.. they've seen you and put 5 to your chest.

Um... engineers can see the red crossbones above enemy mines/c4/claymores, and they can remove them with their wrench.

What more do you want? Immunity to claymores?!

I've never seen anyone do that... and how does a wrench do that?
          Must be a multi-tooled wrench.

Only if by 'asset's you mean enemy commander equipment, med packs, and ammo packs.

I have found the Shotty to be most efficient, and an Engineer rarey roams alone, I usually run medic and shadow the engineer.

Good idea but it's cheating abit knowing where enemy death traps are medics don't see enemy health but like SaladFork Said

Yes, they can defuse claymores, but that's a little more tricky. You have to approach them from the back, because going infront of them causes them to blow up in your face.

And what is it with people just restating what has already been said, lol?

Cool, thanks for the info. I guess being an engineer just became a little more interesting for me.
