in need of very one-sided maps

I have been playing a lot of bf2 singleplayer, however even on expert it is pretty easy (bots take like 2-3 seconds to shoot back) and I can win even on the most one-sided map, Operation Clean Sweep, playing as US.

Are there any maps I can download which have bot support, that are really one sided so I can actually have a challenge? they could make the bots really good but even on expert they are bad. What would be really good is if there was a way to make the bots better, but I guess there isn't.

So, can someone point me to some maps I can download which are really one-sided so it is actually a challenge with bots?

    thanks.

A polite question if I may?

Why don't you just play multiplayer? Do you have a connection/pc problem?

Single player is not going to be a challenge EVER.

Im kind of stuck on dialup for the next month or so, I got a new computer (3800+, 6800 GT 256mb, 1 gig ram) so I can't really afford decent internet for a little while . Until I get broadband I don't really want to play with a 250+ ping.

i did some testing with my dsl
        played some 250 ping servers
        had NO problems
do not know how to test the ping vs bandwidth issues
ie, ping might not be an issue - just the volume of data that flows during he game,
I updated my dsl from 1.5 to 3.0Mbit
now getting avg ping to my caln sever at 80 vs 90
        no difference in gameplay
try the dialup and use small maps

          Oh! Yeah that sucks.

I like single player as well. I had hoped it would have a campaign mode like on bf1942. Still play single player on that occasionaly.

Only use single player on bf2 to try the unlock weapons on the demo

BF2 is incredibly 'bad ping' friendly - we have americans playing competitively on our Aussie servers at 250ms pings.

Gosh I don't find the bots that easy tho. - esp on hard settings.

              80ping? ouch

              I get 18-22 ping to my clanserver and that's on 1mbit :P

On dialup though as soon as you hit heavy combat you will start pausing and jerking around it's pretty much useless to play on.

As for maps, there are currently no third party maps due to no mapping tool or mod tools being released what so ever ... yet :)

Try some of the realism mods out from the mod section, they up the accuracy and intelligence of some of the bots and with more accurate and real bullet/round damages it's much more challenging on expert mode.
