Where are the mod tools?

I mean seriously. Where are they. We got a community update just a week ago saying they were gonna be out in 4-5 days. Why are they not out now??? Did something go wrong or are they gonna be out tomorrow.

well, if you search hard enough there should be some websites that leaked the closed beta version... tho its all illegal and all, but if your a deperate hoe who wants to use very buggy tools then go ahead.. i prefer my notepad instead of the tool.

I wonder how much trouble you could really get into for it? Unless there was something in the installation that talked about downloading it was illegal, it would be hard to prove anyone didnt know this was an official release...

i wouls be sure it would be easy, because as soon as you were to talk about them / post sreenshots on forums its very easy for EA just too look at who was given the tools and if your on that list or not, but anyhow, imho i think you shouldnt download them, if you do and they are buggy, well you'll just get pissed and they wont be the final product giving you the wrong idea of them just just sit nd wait patiently like everyone else is.

I herd you cant animate the characters with the mod tool, im lost if they dont have that. I can animate in lightwave!

Where are the mod tools?!

Pick one, or multiple...

-On the bottom of the priority list of EA
-A big fake, EA waits until the community gets annoyed, produces their own, then sublicense it and call it "official mod tool"
-Not on your computery
-They have them finished already (with what woud've they done the game then?) but won't give them out so they're not pressed by competition from the mod community.
-They have them finished but the one responsible for putting it up has an attention deficit disorder ("uh, what was I supposed to do just now?")

Ya cant do jack for animations.. those have to be created in a 3d program such as max or maya. then imported into the editor and tweaked there. Its been said that before in numerous EA interviews regarding the tools

Yeah, I'm eagerly awaiting the mod tools, although I will only probably only use them for map making unless I one day decide to try and make a mod :P
