    Anyone using 3d-glasses with BF2??

I was looking at some reviews on 3d-glasses and they go as far as saying that they are compatible with games like Doom 3, Half Life 2, BF1942, ,etc... but no mention of BF2.

So, does anyone here have 3d-glasses and uses them WITH SUCCESS on Battlefield 2???

I never tried those with games. How does it look? Like in Battlefield 1942 if a tank shoots at you, would you see the shell coming right through the screen? I have only seen some 3d made cartoon with the 3d glasses and I liked it a lot, cause these mosnters would punch and send stuff into and out of the screen which looked amazing. I have only experienced this 3d glasses stuff once. So how does it feel in games?

Well, after seeing this, I just want to grab my Visa and start spending!!

If it doesn't work with BF2, then I won't consider it...

Well the video didn't tell anything. All he kept talking about is how awsome it is and how the signs reach out to you. I've experienced that myself one time only as I mentioned.

            Interesting video

But for someone who games and seems to be on the up and up with peripherals and top of the line gaming he has WAYYY too many desktop icons and system tray icons which implies a ton of processes. Yuck

Woo, shortcuts to word, pdf and excel files, that'll eat up your resources.

              Maybe if you're on a p166.

Anyway, I'll bet I'll get sick if I'm playing with them too long. What games does the glasses currently support? I doubt there's any.

Well, here's a list of custom profiles for several popular games: http://www.gsoftware.se/stereo/search.php?type=all

Apparently, it works REALLY WELL on BF1942... I don't like BF1942 though LOL :p

I have some shutter glasses (i.e. 3d glasses). I haven't used them in awhile, but maybe I should give 'em a try in BF2. I used them in Flashpoint, and it was definitely pretty damn cool, but then never worked THAT well. I think because one of my eyes is a lot more dominant than the other, so the image never seemed very sharp, and it was hard to kill people because the crosshair wasn't actually over what I was shooting at.

But still, it was a cool effect. And no, things do not come out at you at all. It's more like you're monitor glass is a window, and you're looking into a diorama or something. So there's a feeling of depth, but it's not like things appear to hit you in the face.

Well, I purchases a pair of E3D glasses from edimensional and although BF2 doesn't not yet work with their ATI drivers (at least not for me), HALF LIFE 2, CS: Source and UT2k4 work incredibly well :)

I spend an entire hour just looking at stuff on HL2!! :o

I was having trouble at first to get decent frame rates and then it just WORKED... now I can run HL2 at 1280 x 1024 with all graphics MAXED and with 3d and there is no real loss of frame rates :)

Man does gaming look sweet in 3d! I think Nvidia cards would actually make it look better since they have better support for stereoscopic buffs.

On modern day systems, you could have like 20 extra processes/tray icons and be fine. Change with the times man, change with the times.
