Just change Spawn point if that happens or pick AT-kit and hope you get lucky shot before he shots you. Personally i like those couple of tanks and APC:s. Just running around and shooting everything gets boring, variety ya know.

I do this on karkand. take a tank or apc and sit to the right on the map and shoot any mecs that spawn in the ally. imo this is a tactical way and makes it easier for my team to go in and get that damn flag. it can push them back forcing them to spawn on the other flag. and besides with the amount of enemies going about around that flag it doesnt take long until u get c4:ed or struck by a AT missile.

Its not a usmc only thing though. I've seen plenty of times where mec parked a apc and a tank up the road from the hill where the usmc spawns so when we run down it they can get random kills. Sure its annoying but its just another part of the game.

It's not that hard to keep the tanks and apc's off of the spawn. One engineer can mine off the entire street on both sides. That gives your team enough space to spawn and flank them with the AT rocket.

I admit I am onbe of the guys parking there and kill noobs, this is the only way making people get tired of spawning there and you get the possibility to cape the flag.

As a mec, it's prety simple, spawn at main base and take the tank, get to the front and take out those vihicles.
Spawn at second point from front and from there you can take out the vihicles to, also by sitting in the ground defence, the vihicle must only be once in sight of it and it's a goner

it is just a teambalance thing pall, if this wasn't possible, MEC would always wn the map

the reason why MEC is being noobed by US armor is because of everyone being friggin medics and support, and only couple of guys with AT...once I was getting tired of tank rapes and spent the whole round as engineer...mined all the entrances and till the end of the round almost none of the armor made it to the first MEC flag...had about 12 mine kills, and some frags...although we won, I wasn't on top of the scoreboard.....

I've owned and been owned on that map (not camped), fun map. Try it 16-player size with 64 players.... Talk about chaos... That's when I got my 24 kill streak (not bragging) I was the Commander and got totally board, after 5 minutes of UAV and scanning, couldn't use arty unless I wanted to TK 3/4 of my entire team; so I jumped in the USMC tank and rolled to the first MEC spawn point BOOM BOOM BOOM!!! pretty lame, and it didn’t feel right, so I jumped out and grabbed my knife, yelled “lets rock” and got TKed by some n00b who jumped into in the M1A1 I just got out of… dern….

They could do away with the tanks on that map.

Next LAN party were havin a knife fight on that map.... That was always fun in BF & DC & BFV... Just wish the wrench could kill....OMG that would be hilarious.....

I think they shouldn't have heavy armour on it either, apcs yes medium transport yes .. mabbe a couple more light transport on the 32 and 64 player maps instead of Tanks, although it does break up the average 50% medics on the map with tanks added :P

we were laddering on this map last night to reach their (mecs) main, so we could own their commander assests, and armor that spawns there.
The squad leader would push forward a bit, then hide. The rest of us would keep pushing as well. And if the squad leader could, he move up even further. We did think in like 6 steps. The whole squad (6 of us) would always spawn on the squad leader. It was just really cool, pushing forward like this. The SL didnt get alot of rewards in the form of killing and such........but he didnt mind. And we got to their main, and owned it. Fun time really.

It's pretty easy to drive a hummer back there also. I know two ways to get back there without going down the two main roads at all.

dude, there are plenty of ways to take care of the problem. first of all don't spawn there, spawn at the next nearest CP and use the AT kit. those roads are so long that it's almost impossible for a tank/APC driver to figure out where the AT missiles are coming from if you're firing in the prone position unless your real dumb and stand in the middle of the street and fire. also relocating is no big deal for the next shot. more importantly, precaution is better than cure, mine or C4 the roads at the start of the game and keep doing it every now and then. you have to adapt and change your kit depending on the situation. the main problem is you want easy kills/points but when your a$$ starts getting mowed down because of your stupidity in the first place, then you start to complain.
