Squad leader for the meritorious unit ribbon

Does it matter beeing a squad leader for this ribbon??

Cause if its hard to do 40 teampoints and the game last 26 minutes, more harder it is that you dont end up beeing the squad leader...

According to this website, you do not need to be squad leader to achieve this ribbon. All you need is to be in a squad for 26 minutes (this means you can be squad leader, but you don't have to be) and earn a team score of 40 in one round.

Yup! I can confirm this. I got this ribbon while playing in a squad, but I wasn't the leader.

32 player servers are a must for time based awards as the games last longer.

Medic/Support/Blackhawk pilot are the way to go for team points.

Umm... I was either medic or support, but if I remember correctly I'm almost positive I was playing medic at the time. I got it naturally, wasn't trying for it. I didn't even know what the reqs for it were at the time. It just popped up on my screen and surprised me.

Those 26 minutes are minutes ALIVE cause ive timed it and i got it supossedly after 4 minutes of the 26 elapsed since the beginning of the round.

At that moment i died 16 times killing 25 ppl and 16x15seconds= 240 seconds wich are 4 minutes.

Oh yeah, i was the squad leader, so that as you ppl say, doesn´t make a difference.

As it clearly states it is " in a squad" no specification whatsoever.

me too, did the same thing... heli whoring with some engineers and medics on board. I was the pilot.... at the end, I had 83 Teampoints
