To Medics, a few q's

Ok I dont play medic at all but last night I went for it to see how that feels. I liked it a lot, I just revived people and healed them. Was fun but I have a question

I saw some guys throwing thier medic bags on the ground while others were just holding theirs, I know holding heals the guy and the medic bag on the ground does to but what is the diff. between it, I know if a bag is on the ground a enemy can use it but is that the only benefit to holding your bag? Should I be healing guys by throwing stuff at them?

Also any tips would be nice, I dont want to stat pad or get "leet" stats I just want to be a good medic.... hell I charged out in the open many times to revive someone.

Throwing the bag on the ground makes it so the person can be healed faster.

Holding the bag slowly heals everyone around you. Dropping the bag allows whoever picks it up to heal themselves fully and instantly.

Also, if you are a medic inside a vehicle, you will heal everyone around you and yourself.

the advantage to throwing medic bags to the ground is that your teammates can get healed even if ur not in the immediate area. therefore, its best if you place these in areas where you know the fighting will be the most intense.

Holding a medic pack will slowly revive anyone who is in your nearby vicinity. You'll see their health bar(s) fill up right above your ammo information in the bottom right. You'll get 1 teamwork point for every 100 points of health you heal.

Throwing down a med-pack allows someone to pick it up and instantly be brought to full health. Also, this heals 100hp on the spot, so it will give you a point right there and then. However, only one person can pick up a thrown medpack.

Yes, they can. It's always nice when I rush around a corner, and an enemy medic is throwing bags, and after taking out him and another guy, I can replenish my health easily.

i know supply packs the support hands out go both ways(enemy and friendly) so i'm betting the medic bag does 2

Heal an enemy and frag him again? Does that work? Just kidding.
Medic is the nicest thing in this game,if u dont like action.
If u play as medic,stick 2 your squadleader(i hope u play in a squad).
U can allways respawn at your squadleader.
The best thing with medics and support is when they join hands and sits in wehicles.

Healing the enemy bad enough.

Dropping bag = full health
Holding bag = slowly regain health...anyone around you

You can only throw 3 bags I think before your bag recharges.

Imo you throw bags when you need a lot of health fast or when your teammate are hurt. You just hold the bag for yourself or if you are around a flag with lots of injured people.

as mentioned, thrown medpacks can heal 100pts instantly. but if you throw a medpack, and someone who just has a little falling damage (like 5pts) picks up that medpack, you've pretty much wasted 95pts right there.

but I think it's alot better to throw than hold
