but how often does that happen. there are a few things that happen to me
A.No gunner
B.gunner sucks
C.some noob keeps tking me and taking it, and dying
D.the enemy has it
E.someone already has it, but isn't killing anyone, and at the same time isn't dying.


they do have mobile AA vehicles...


agreed, if I get the F-15 I can have a ton of fun, but I'd have to say Kubra Dam is my least favorite map.

For me, Zatar Wetlands is the most uninspired and boring map in the game. Clean Sweep is OK.. no wait, that map sucks too. Then again, I can't fly a plane to save my life.

16 player Kubra Dam is fun since all the fighting takes place on the bridge. 32 player is just too big.

I hate Clean Sweep, but really like the Kubra Dam map.

Me 2 i think the reason i hate kubra dam map is because it's so big and it takes long time to find a enemy and many times you don't have the sence from where you get shot from.

I don't get the hate for Kubra....I have a blast on that map be it on foot or in something.

Clean Sweep can be fun if the USMC team has its act together but usually its a bore. The pilots definitely rake it up on this map - last time I played the USMC pilot had 57:2 K which brings me to a question:

Has Anyone *ever* shot down a Jet with the AA? I've never seen it happen and have never been able to do it. IMO we shouldn't have to depend (almost) exclusively on our own pilots to deal with enemy aircraft.

I like Clean Sweep..the only map that I really, really, REALLY don't like is Songhua Stalemate..

I like how clean sweep is a multi-stage map. Most maps are just run around, keeping as many flags capped as possible.

Clean Sweep, on the other hand, has two distinct stages. Stage One, prevent the USMC from making a beachhead. The key to this stage is effectively coordinating your air assets. After/if USMC gets a beachhead, then it becomes a ground war again. MEC has to hold their airstrip/copter base and USMC has to hold their beachhead.

I don't really care for it either. It's probably the most uninteresting maps in BF2. Whenever I'm on the American team, we get our asses kicked. Most of the time the MECs APCs and tanks are just waiting for you on the beaches or in the water. If you happen to make it past the jets and land based vehicles, then you have to put up with the AA guns and vehicles.

Thats cause everyone goes straight for that first flag. I *HATE* it when I spawn at US an hop in a blackhawk and it goes straight for that first flag where 75%+ the MEC team has spawned. When I play MEC I'll spawn at one of the back bases to defend an usually end up leaving cause no one ever comes there to try an take it.

I swear people think they have to be taken in order. Then once you do have a flagy half the team still spawns back at the US base cause of aircraft.

i dont like maps where there is a ton of walking to get flags... walk for 10 min get the flag half way down the poll then get killed... and usualy when theres a map that requires alot of walking ppl are hovering in the aircraft not doing anything... close combat maps are the best...
