Actually that was in the begging of the war and there werent that many killed, its just the media. Second the reason civilians are dieing over there right now is because of the insurgents.

Also, you believe the media to much.

But this is BF2 and civilians wouldn't change much for anyone except choppers and bombers. Blast radius for nades in BF2 is really small.
      where were they in AA?

Excactly the point I was making, thanks for the support. For some reason the media exaggerates the deaths in a lot of cases, and blames the US for them, while MOST were caused by insurgents, unless it directly states that this many were caused from US attacks, which is impossible to know excactly because early on in the war it was based off of Iraqi media reports, which were supported by Saddam to be biosed against the US. Nothing in war is perfect, if everything was war wouldnt exist, or the world in that case. I am not saying I dont feel bad for those innocent that died, but I feel bad for those that died in the WTC, the Pentagon, and those in the hijacked planes.

yeah some of the maps could use them... like running into a door ect...

that was a big problem with BFV, the NVA's greatest weapon was being able to melt into the population....

CNN - "Nearly 25,000 civilians have been killed in Iraq since the start of the Iraq war, according to a group that tracks such statistics from media reports.
                  "

BBC - "Poor planning, air strikes by coalition forces and a "climate of violence" have led to more than 100,000 extra deaths in Iraq, scientists claim."

Iraq Body Count Organazation - "Civilians reported killed by military intervention in Iraq 22938 - 25980"

... ok then, Stastitically US is doing better not blowing up Civils as much since past wars. Like George Carlin once said "US loves bombing countries with brown people" .

Hey only around 25,000 us related deaths is improvment Right?

Anyways enough about iraq peep getting there **** ruin.

I think the Geo Mod or Similar from Red Faction would kick ass and add a nice chaging battlefield effect for BF2. Heavy weapon damage effects the environtment in the field so you can see bomb crators or just ruined buildings, military hard ware, evirontment and just the general landscape. If its to much CPU memory usage then just bomb crators and buildings that get noticible damage for heavy weapons fire or left in ruins.

how cool would it be to take cover in newly ruined buildings or a nifty bomb crator .
