When I save up enough money I'm going to pick up a nice pair of speakers.

It took me a summer of landscaping, gardening, painting, doing dishes, taking out garbage and other crap but it's finally coming. YAY! w00t!!!

Why did you get the 3800+ instead of 3700+ ??

3800+ is running at 2.4GHz and has 512kb cache
3700+ is running at 2.2GHz and has 1MB cache

but the 3700+ can easily run at 2.4GHz, and it should not be that hard to OC 200MHz and thus it would be equal to 4000+ but for less money than the 3800, just my opinion of course. Either way nice system.

Question about headsets: People are always recommending them instead of speakers. Why? What makes them better? And does the game's sound AND other people come through on the headset? I figure that would make it hard to hear people talking?

And what headsets would you recommend in the $80-$100 price range?

I got these and they RULE!!!! I love them, they're so comfertable and the mic is nice too but it isnt attached to the headset....you put it wherever you want. The sound is 1st rate. Oh yeah, when people talk the battlesounds just get a little quieter and then the guy talks, then back to normal. headphones are an awsome way to go

I assumed you were building yourself, my bad..

Okay, most ppl OC in the BIOS, but many motherboards today, come with software that lets you do it so it isn't hard, just one click of a button, Turbo, and my 3700+ runs at 2.4GHz.

Of course it is better, but that doesn't make it the best buy, performance/overclockability vs price is how I look at it.
