TK question

If you are "credited" with a TK, but are forgiven, do you still lose some points, or none at all?

EG, is it like:

-2 for forgiven TK
-4 for a punished TK

or is it like:

0 for a forgiven TK
-4 for a punished TK

(the exact numbers arn't important)

You get negative points for first team damage (-2) then another -2 for the kill and I think it's another 2-4 for a punish.

Are you absolutely sure? I could be wrong, but I thought it was:

1) Take 50% of their health: - 1
2) Take another 50%, (resulting in a tk, obviously,) another -1
3) Victim chooses to punish, another -2

I'm not sure about numbers two and three, but I did play a game not too long ago and the very first thing that happened on the map was, I dropped prone and began firing at an enemy with my PKM at some distance. A teammate ran right through my line of fire and I got the "Team damage! Don't hurt your teammates!" warning. I tabbed into my score and sure enough, it was -1.

Yep, way too much, it's ridiculous getting banned just because some moron runs out in front of your plane as you take off...

The values can be editted by the owner of the servers. However, most have them at the default settings.

Here are the default ones:
Each 50% of damage dealt: -2 points
Killing them: -4 (-6 if punished).

Just knifing a teammate will get you the kill, but shooting them down from full health will also take away for team damage. Worst case scenario, you get -8. You actually have to deal OVER 50% damage for the -2 penalty, so it's not counted twice if you kill them. You get -2 for the first 50%, and then -4/-6 for the kill.

Team Vehicle Damage is -2 by default, same concept applies.

It's pretty gay, I say -0 for a FORGIVEN TK and -4 for punished. Why do they give us the potion of forgiving if it still hurts them?

exactly, if the tk is forgiven there should be no points taken away. because whats the point of forgiving if it means nothing.
