Sargeant - Who and how long?

sadly since i have been working on a clan module for my bf2stats script i have had little time to play this week, but im at 18k, hopefully i can finish my module this weekend, then i will be sergant next week.

funny how everybody assumes that if you have decent stats, then it must be IMPOSSIBLE that you actually got them through playing well.

yeah, ive got a lot of kills in a su34. so what? u think the bf2 developers were making maps and they thought

"lets put in a fighter here...bomber here...enemy airstrip over there....and make sure that if anybody actually USES these planes however, that they can be labelled whoring noobs. because we all know these planes are just here for show..."

as for vehicle whroing, same thing. if a vehicle was put on a map for a purpose, seriously, why the hell whinge when sombody actually USES IT? omfg!?!?

anyway, ive got like 33 hours in a plane and 58 hours as infantry or something, with 2,000-3,000 kills with the assault rifle, so dont bother with this whore crap. :P

for everybody else, thank yas for the comments. i wouldnt have done that to nighthawk, but he seems to annoy me everywhere i go, so i may as well bring his tardness out in the open.

hmmm, on a final note, im still looking for the <100 hours sargeant... :)

I dont think anyone has the patience to fly around in circles raping people with the SU-35 on Cleansweep for 33hours. Its easy as **** to bomb with that plane, I really dont see what youre bragging about. Ive seen lance corporals who have taken more flags then you. Way to be a team player.

Ive been bombed by one of you SU-25 n00b's on Gulf of Omen. He must have bombed me 10 times..robbed me from the Gold. Next round I hopped in a plane to spoil his day, that bastard was so dependant on his plane I raped their runway all round and he kept respawning and running for it. He had like 5 points at the end of the round and I took away the gold all while flying and taking a nap at the same time it was so easy.

Lemme tell you why the SU-25 takes no skill.
1. It drops 50million bombs all at once its impossible to miss.
2. 99.9% of pilots in this game cant fly to save thier lives becasue they are flying with their mouse, so if you have a joystick and can do a couple manuvers to evade their fire you can easily fly a whole round unscathed.
3. Most people dont know how to take out a plane with a stinger.


So please, take your braggin thread somehwere else. If youre looking for everyone else who has made it to Sergeant in under 100 hours check the list of stat padders who have been busted back down to private.

I agree... I hate jet whores who continously bomb the entire round and rack up on kills.

Not only is it hard as f*** to shoot down a jet when you're on the ground, but avoiding the bombs is near impossible as well.

Well, let´s say

you earn 50 points a game, each game is 15 minutes.

That´s

25,000 : 50 x 15 : 60 = 125 hours

You play 2 hours 5 days a week, that´s 10 hour a week ;

12,5 weeks to sergeant lol happy hunting

Nobody gets good at anything, or attains any goals without putting long hours and hard work and practice in.

An Olympic athlete isn't born that way. They have to train, train, train and train to get where they are.

what do you agree on? that getting owned by pilots suck, or that these sergeants dont have lives or jobs? i hope its not the latter, seeing as shafty boy here has played quite a bit more then anything that i'd see as healthy.

strandsberg, thats about right, except my current playing makes for 260 points an hour, so thats about 95 hours to get to seargent. i play about 3 hours a day, so thats about 800 points a day, which makes for aout 27 days of play, or 4 weeks. not that much, really.

btw i check the leaderboards (thanx for that link btw ) and i couldnt find anybody with less then a hundred hours...however i only got down to the 200th ranked, so maybe theres a few a bit furthur down. i'll check tonight.
