I read somewhere that there are going to be about 140 fixes in total, so im sure there will be something in there about hit detection and all sorts of other issues. I personally just cant wait till the patch is released. :)

"Teamkilling changes – the logic of how teamkills are tracked will be changed."
I hope this somehow fixes players hiding under vehicles, etc.
Last night on the server I play at, one player decided to grief everyone he could by getting under the treads of tanks, etc. No matter how slow you moved to avoid him, he would get under that tread or wheel and get killed and give you the penalty.
Also, if you were firing at someone in a base, he would jump in your line of fire. This happened to 4 player and then finally myself when we all got Punkbuster kicked. Pissed me off so badly, I logged for the rest of the night.Comment

On the official forum one EA Dev said they are aware of this problem and looking into the matter. No word of a confirmed change though.Originally posted by NismO_UKI really hope that they make it so you can change your in-game name, as I want to add clan tags without having to start a new account.
Surely this change wouldn't be too hard?Comment

Wow, that is just wrong. The TK system is just failing on every aspect. They need to change the vote # requirements to at least half. If we are playing on a 16 man server, then 8 votes should do the trick for a kick/ban.Originally posted by Roderick"Teamkilling changes – the logic of how teamkills are tracked will be changed."

I really don't remember what the vote requirement are now, but I have never ever seen a successful vote kick actually work in BF2. The TK system as it is now is only hurting the players playing the game as it should be.
I doubt admins even configured PB to handle vote kicks. Used to be pb_votekick playername, but I have no idea if that still works...Comment

The problem with the voting system is it requires way too many players to vote someone off. Even if you reduce it to 50% votes needed, that means everyone on your team would have to vote yes, and if you have someone AFK which is always the case, the vote will fail unless you have someone honest on the opposing team to help support you with a yes, but that is a rarity.
They need to reduce the vote to 35-40% of the playing community to successfully kick a player.Comment
