Whats the matter with my mouse?!?

My mouse is working fine all the time, except for the spawn point map comes up at the start of a game. It lets me pick a server and click the join game button but after that the game will not respond to any mouse movements. I have been playing since the game was released without a problem but all of a sudden this!!!
Please reply with help. (i hope ive explained this problem good enough)

try resetting your controls back to default in the main menu, this happend to me and it had lost all the settings and cos nothing was in the controls.con file there was no reaction from the mouse or keyboard.
