unlocked weapons in SP

Just a quick question before this thread will be forgotten
Can I use my unlocked g36c in singleplayer? It seems i can only use it in MP, but i want to test it out more thoroughly against bots. If I select singleplayer with my doglike profile (the one with which I CAN use it in multiplayer) it is still locked.

You have to unlock all the weapons in SP mode. Do this:

To unlock all the weapons in the game, go to your \Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2 Demo\python\bf2\stats directory and open the file unlocks.py with Notepad or Wordpad.

Find the line: defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]


and change it to: defaultUnlocks = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]

Keep in mind that if you installed any of the patches, the above doesn't work. You'll need to reinstall the game.

Now you can run a server running 1.02 and have unlocks but that's another story...

Changing unlock.py no longer works in v1.01 or v1.02. It will only work in the demo, or in v1.00 (clean install).

You're going to need to use a 3rd party program in order to be able to use unlockables in single player.

From what I can see the thrid party program just changes unlocks.py, which no longer works.

yeah the defaultunlock 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, doesnt work with the new patch
