Has this game given you more joy than frustration or vice versa or evenly balance number of joys and annoying points?

Re: Balance
this game has absolutely driven me FRICKIN NUTS with its extremely poor code. honestly, in this day & age how could you not ship with a WORKABLE SERVER BROWSER!??!?!??!! Tribes 1 managed to pull off multiplayer smoother then BF2. and don't forget the crashes, the atrociously long loading procedure that doesn't seem to do anything (my game runs like absolute crap for the first several minutes of starting a new map, and everytime I enter a new area it chokes up for a while - Halo2 gets it right immediately), the quirky TK-punishing system, poor or flat out made up error reporting ("ok my ping is < 10 and my fps is > 30... so why the frick is it actually running at like 1/2 frame a second??? i have no idea where the problem is" no joke i've encountered that manyl times before ), memory leaks in patches, gameplay oddities (effectively invulnerable blackhawk anyone?), and having to ctrl-alt-del to kill the program once i've quit out of it cause it sits in memory taking up 500 MB and the music is still playing over my speakers. and this doesn't count all those times I've been cursing because I'm being absolutely slaughtered by the other team and have to spend a round trapped on the aircraft carrier.
in my 15 years of gaming, i have NEVER EVER:
-seen a game that crashes so hard it reboots my comp (and then sometimes even screws up the booting process!)
-had to do a complete uninstall-defrag-driver repatch-reinstall
Having said all that, its still given me more pleasure then pain. once i get going in a good game, i can never get enough. personally i think this is due to a good idea for a game rather then having anything to do with DICE's lackluster programming skills. It continually amazes me that with all of these problems, I still have over 50 hours invested in this game. and nearly all of that is time spent just driving the tank around!!! so i selected "more pleasure then pain", althoughComment

Someone must have voted on the poll, since poll votes bump the topics back to the top of the page with this new forum version, should disable that I suppose.Comment

Re: Balance
It’s balanced for me but it’s so addictive (probably not as addictive as WoW but). I just always have to get my rank high (without and whoreing of any kind). It’s like a drug with no consequences. Finally yes I do get the crashes but try updating your computer that always fixes mine.Comment
all i good fun though.
