Any decent pilots? Need help here.

Jets. Cant get the hang of them at all. Dogfighting I can sort of manage, but ground attack? Bombing? Recipe for a pancake landing.

    Any useful suggestions?

lolz, yea it is hard to get the timimg accurate on bombing, i fond it best, instead of trying to "dive bomb" as it sounds you are doing, to fly straight over the top, release the bombs when the curve at the bottom of the"aimer" so to say, is over the target, then once released set your self up so that your not going to hit anythign and look behind u, if the bombs fall short, next time release later, and visa versa if the fall late of the target. It does take some practice, but u get usta it.

GO to 200 ft, dive straight down and bombs away You'll have more luck with the bombers. You'll be lucky to kill someone in a base with the fighters (unless you hover over it in an F-35).

They're using the JSF, it has vertical take-off and landing.

                    PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE

when you get good at it, there is no trick, you just know how to bomb, no mtter what angle, what position, speed, you can bomb right on target if you practice a lot.

Make a single-player game and practice. Nobody likes to have their jet taken by a noobie that`s just gonna crash it in a minute . Sry had to point that out, anyways here are some tips:

                      1. Again, go on single-player and practice dropping some bombs on a desired target, as you release pull up and press C to switch your camera view to behind, notice where the bombs actually hit.

                      2. When bombing, idealy you want to apporach at a 45 degree angle so there won`t be much displacement between the bombing impacts, unless you`re looking at longer killing area.

                      3. Keep bombing until you find the correct timing of release, many variants play a role here so try to approach each time with the same angle and speed.

I normally get 20+ kills in a normal 100 ticket ratio round, but that includes air and ground targets. Hehe, practice makes perfect...

Only the JSF fighter on the USMC side can do that. You use reverse to hover. You can take off and land this way and also stop mid-flight to hover anywhere on the map.

The F-35 can be a real ***** to fly.. this is the only aircraft in the game I have yet to get under control..

Attempting to transition from normal flight to vertical hover (or vise versa) is the hard part.. you've literally got to jam the throttle to full power (including reverse thrust) to get the engine to spool enough power to keep from falling out of the damn sky.. rather than gradually switching between flight modes, as in real life..

find a target rich area, nose down a bit, hit the pickle, watch the killspam, rearm, repeat.

After working the attack copters for a couple weeks, jumping into a jet for the aviator badge took me exactly one round, lol.

I am "trying" to use a Logi Wingman Srikeforce 3D - which has alot of options for setting up BUT I have had NO luck at getting ANY control over either a plane or a Helicopter. IF anyone that reads this and is using a similar stick - would you please share with me/us your setup?
