I'm really getting sick and tired of this.

I'd be flying my Jet, get a lock on a helicopter. FIRE AWAY!

Missiles miss the target (stupid flares ), and then the missiles begin to swurve around then bang 5 Team Kills, IT DECIDES to go and start aiming at a Black Hawk filled with my team mates.

Then you say sorry blah blah, but they still TK punish you, they think you do it deliberatly. Now im no geniuos but im pretty sure that EA or Dice could possibly remove punishing from TK with the Lock on Jet missiles, since you cannot lock onto your teammates Jets, or Helicopters, but when they feel like it, the missiles hit them

Hopefully in the next patch.

I always find it odd that it can lock on to a heatsource further away than the target I was aiming at...

The exact thing just happen to me tonight. Just as you descibed it, only I got kicked from the server before I could even type 's'.

Makes you wonder if you can fire randomly at the enemy airfield with a stinger and hit one of their choppers? No that would be silly, only when trying to hit an enemy will it hit something far away, a friendly lol

Hmmm never experienced this, but it seems pretty silly that it could happen. I mean in real life heat seekers don't know the difference between friend or foe, but in here it should not be possible.

I mean it's not like the rest of the game is extremely accurate/realistic.

Yeah, I had that a few times...and people who you Tk will always punish even if they know what happened..stupid kids..grrrrrr

I also had someting even worse...I was flying in a helicopter with a co-pilot trying to shoot the other helicopter....then, BOOM...a teammate crashes into me in a Jet...and I get 2-3 TK's ( Co-Pilot + 2 pilots in Su-34)...and they all punish me...WTF!!!

irl the missiles in question would explode when they go very close to the heat source, they have proximity detonators, not contact. that means instead of flying through the flares they would explode.

well it didnt take long for somebody that obviously has noidea about what the op is talking about. all we need now is for you to reply saying its the pilots fault that their missiles lose target, do a 180degree turn and target a friendly chopper.

That happened to me the other day with an SLA launcher (ground air defence), ended up blowing a friendly chopper up

As you can see, from this thread most people that have posted, have had a similar occurance. I'm just stating this, I don't care about the TKs, i just don't like the fact that morons (like you), even thou its accidental can TK you when it doesn't even lock on friendlies, and you have no control over it.


Just the same as the people running over Engineers mines, i don't care about the TK's, its just the punishing which is done, when it isn't the Engineers fault.

lol.... now what was i sapose to say.... o yea its all the piolts fault!!!... i was in the military i know what missles can do and this is very possible and i also fly but just becasue i get unlucky doesnt mean ea should make it so im lucky think about it this guy is preety much complaing about a regular tk its like saying its not fair i throw a grenade but then my teammte runs into it! or i hit the right button by accident and itked my whole sqaud accidents happen if you never want accidents to happen to find a nice closet and put pillows all over the wall and hang out in there
