Is a Ban Permanent?

Hi all, is a ban permanent or not? I got banned from a particular server that I usually played on for a tk.

I was a sniper hiding in one of the enemy base tower (the demo map). I placed 2 claymores in front of me to defend myself long enough for the flag to change. To my surprise,someone from my team climbed into the tower i was in and got killed. As a result,i got kicked out and banned.

The length of time for a ban is set by the admin that bans you. It will be either a perm ban or for a certain amount of time specified.

Good way to avoid this, dont tk

nah the kick and ban is just for the round. you can get back in the server after the round has finished. That'll teach you for using claymores near moronic team mates. BTW for all those noobs who run over team mates mines and claymores hit the ALT button, it shows little red skulls over these....

auto-kick, auto-ban. lasts until the next round.

There are permanent bans. Two lame clans that I murdered with a tank banned me for good. Not knowing the name of either clan I clicked on a server the other day to find I was actually banned from it.

There are several ban "states" in the game, but I think normally the ban onlyu lasts for a round. I have been banned from a server once that lasted for aprox. 24hrs. so there must be several ban "states".

And for the mining use. I see to my great suprise that more and more players that runs in to teammates mines don't punnish you. It's great that more and more understands that it's just their own fault and not the one that put's out the mine. When that is said, players should now start to work on where thay put out their mines and not put them out randomly.
