    How to use M203, GP-30, GP-25

How do you use these 3 nade launchers? I've had problems hitting ranged targets. i can only use it like a noob cannon and sometimes hit ranged targets but only after mutiple tries. how do u be accurate with them? thx

1: if they are over 2 meters away, aim at their feet.
2: if they are under 2 meters away, aim at your feet.
3: if 1, fire jump around like an idiot while you reload.
4: if 2, jump and fire.
    5: repeat.

          true. practice makes perfect.

but no one is perfect. so why bother to practice? XD

The reticle is a great guide when you're starting, but you have to adjust for elevation.

I think the real answer is: practice.

Assault is my main class and I can put a grenade just about anywhere in range it'll go.

One tip: There is recoil, which will kick your aim up a bit for next shot if you're firing from a fixed position, so remember to pull it back down if you're aiming at same area.

The reticule is in a way similar to the actual M-203. The way to use what is on the screen is if the persons torso fits between the lines fire, if it doesn't elevate until it does. This will put you in the general area but for the most accurate shots you need to practice with it. Once you get the hang of it though you will be outright deadly!

                Hey all,
I know that in Joint Ops the hash marks on the reticle represent 50m increments. For instance, if you know the target is 150m from you, you align him with the 3rd line down...since you can see how many meters a flag is from you, practice seeing where the hash marks are for you to hit the flag.
Practice at 50/100/150m...then practice when you're on higher ground!
By hash marks, I mean the weird looking gradation-type reticle for elevation shooting that appears when you sling your gren-launcher into position.
It's really hard to explain...let's try a diagram

(this is what the reticle for the grenade launcher looks normally)

                _ _
                - -
                - -
                - -
                - -

(and here's how to read it)

_......._ 50m (this is the first line you aim at, and is usually thicker)
                -.......- 100m
                -.......- 150m
-- 200m if he's 200m away, put his body/feet between these lines, and drop it like it's Hawt
                -.......- 250m

                Hope it helps...
BTW, you have the same elevation marks in tank weapon HUDS...learn to use em....hehe I think I better go practice too...just thought of the "flag-distance" thing a few minutes ago...

well i use assult mainly i find its just practice but even when u get the hang of it its still a little hard to be consisently perfect on the mark but bascally guesstimation is ur best option for distance shots 2 m beyond-ish

I would just like to point out one thing.

Glasseye is by far the biggest, most annoying, useless, waste of oxygen, nonsense poster on these forums.

Read then post please...don't just add your nonsense.

I really hope battlefield stops ppl from "jumping around like idiots". Its just well, stupid and annoying.

What I hate is the splash damage is so much lower than a regular grenade. You have to hit really close to hurt the enemy.

You have to understand...it's just a grenade...Take the claymore for example. It is DESIGNED to explode large. What I mean by this is that it is meant to spread a large amount of shrapnel in a forward direction to eliminate foes.

The grenade for example is a 360 degree explosion which goes in all directions. Claymores are much more effective in that they are designed to do more damage to one direct location ( much like c4 ). The claymore focus's its shrapnel when it explodes which is much more efficient.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you can't get apple juice from an orange. You have to use the grenade how it was meant to be used - Close radius to the target(s) expecting a small radius explosion ( if this makes sense )

one good way to use it is to make use of the buildings and terrain around him....if hes up against the wall shoot the wall next to him....thats a good way to get multiple targets at once. that and LOTS of practice. eventually youll be able to stand at one flag turn and within a second or so turn, lead, and fire off a round that hit the guy at the next flag over....thats always tons of fun..... ( then they ***** about how they got spawn killed.....right....)
