Lets say you have lance corporal as a rank. Can you ever get demoted. In other words lose global points after doing horribly. (Not me) My friend.

only if you TK a lot and get negative points, so that your score is less than the required amount....
I dunno if its been tried though.

I think it does take away from your global score.

Hehe I wonder how many BAN's you would end up having too?

You loose global points if you get minus points in a round, not sure of you get demoted though.

So no matter how many deaths you have lets say you go 1 kill and 15 deaths. Your global points will not go down unless you have negative points?

Yes. Look back to some of the interviews they had with developers. One of the questions asked was whether you'd be able to lose ranks.

There are TWO ways to lose ranks. If you tk, team damage, or do anything that reduces your score so much that you don't have enough global score for your current rank, you will be demoted. Two, if you are Sergeant Major of the Corps and someone overtakes you, you will be demoted back down to Sergeant Major.

Also, checking the common_client.zip file, you can find a sound file that's obviously named as "demote.ogg".

you would have to ern it and then team kill or team damage tell they botted you then start a new game and then team kill agin ....but if your like me you get that new weapon and damn havent lost yet
