I fixed the problem wiht the help of EA tech support. Yah, I'm stumped too. For 1GB+ RAM users you could change your virtual memory: min - 2000, max 4000. That helped a little but what really helped is ending your processes in your task manager. End everything running under your name except taskmgr.exe, explorer.exe, IEXPLORE.exe. Yes even your CLI.exe for ATI users. I can now run at 1024x768, 4x AA, All Settings High. Without going below 40FPS. It averages at 50FPS. I just hope this is permanent now.
Is that safe to do, I know everything is restored after a restart but will it not cause any problems?
