The bug of unlock wepons cost me a ban

on a server.I was playing and i told my team that they know that there wepons are unlocked.
When I did that they ban&kick :cry: me because they thing that I did that I hack the server ...

you can unlock them by changing the text in a file, but i wouldnt play on a server with others because EA will ban you if they catch you. I did this and played singleplayer just to see the other weapons when i first got the game. Then replaced the file with the original and everything is back to normal

They fixed the text file editing with the patches. It doesn't work in single or multiplayer. If you used it in multiplayer I believe your CD key gets banned for a week.

it still works server side. there are plenty of unranked servers w/ weapons unlocked for all. the only thing ea does about it is take you off the ingame browser for a week. which doesnt mean jack if ppl write down the ip.
