Game Freeze MP and SP!!

I've been having a problem joining a game with BF2. Both Multiplayer and Single Player games don't seem to work. As soon as the map loads up and I click join, the game enters for less then a second and then returns to the join screen and freezes. I've been talking to EA tech support for days now and I don't think they quite understand what I'm talking about. Anyone out there know what the problem is???

Nevermind, I messed around with my system enough to fix it...Still not exactly sure what I fixed but at least I can play now :)
