Yeah, I didn't really mind bunnyhopping until yesterday when when like the whole MEC army was bunnyhopping. I go prone shoot at the guy, he jumps, shoots, I die. Gets annoying after a while, especially in a firefight. The only time I jump is when I don't want to get killed by a tank.

Bunnyhopping = skill. The people who use it are those that understand the essence of the game. You're a fool if you want them to change something that'll give a skilled player like yourself an advantage over others.

      PS.
      Bunnyhopping comes from Quake.

in Call of Duty, bunny hopping is cleverly avoided, your first jump is full, but with each following jump (in quick succesion), you might as well be going on tiptoe, thats how high you go!

Sure, Battlefield 2 is more like an arcade, still there should be something to prevent that.

what about if one jump took some stamina, but if you jumped right after the first one, it took 20% more and so on, so that jumping many times in a row would exhaust you.

i say they should just use the stamina system found in Day of Defeat...u can pretty much jump 2-3 times before u hafta "recharge" your stamina again. altho some may consider this a hindrance, it didn't make the game any less fun

Hopping is ****ing gay, anyone who hops is gay, and more over anyone who defends it and doesnt want it balanced is even more gay.

I remeber watching a video for BF2 when they were going over the different aspects. They said something along the lines of, bunny hopping will pretty much be eliminated due to our "stamina" system that BF2 will use.

Yet, with no stamina players can still jump how ever much they desire...

                      GG Idiots making BF2.

I loved Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield. There was no jumping at all. It took a while to get used to, but I think it works out better. Unfortunately level designers had to design maps with no curbs, anything higher then a stair and you couldn't get up it.

I see the need to jump in a game, but in a gun fight thats just lame.

Speak for yourself. I don't like to see players hop around exploiting a hit box problem and making me waste a crapload of bullets. Yes! You are exploiting this and backing it up with BS claims of avoiding damage or staying alive.

Either they need to increase the hit box for hopping and quite honestly, you should be as vulnerable as being prone and exposing your head when doing this because with your feet off the ground, you cannot do anything to realistically dodge a bullet, or blow up the cone of fire of the reticle so that they cannot aim because quite frankly, this is not the movies and I am sure the worlds best sharp shooters would claim to it being hard to take fire from someone and be able to score a kill shot on the same target.

Bunny hopping is BS and completely skilless and needs to be fixed.

arcade or not, last night a expirienced some weird ****.

i was flying a Cobra and was in a air fight with another attack helicopter. Many of my rockets were hits so he bailed out on 150 meters high and pulled out his parachuut right away. so i decided to let him feel my helicopter blades if you know what i mean. the first time i hitted him, i heard a loud bang.....nothing happend. 2nd time i flew straight into him...but what than happen made my face go o.0 ...... so i flew straight into him and my helikopter EXPLODED en HE killed me.....

i think thats something to be fixed first :P

i think bunnyhopping is a skill and everyone is just mad because you don't have them skills... but then again, hacking is a skill too.... notice an similarities?

on to more pressing issues, making it take more stamina, destroy your accuracy far greater, and removing the ability to prone mid-flight would remove bunny hoping from this game who prides itself on its realism and amounts of medals given... like the "you suck, but you still get a medal, medal" (purple heart ^^)
