The server has refused the connection

title says it all.....
Cant log in, or even create a new account.

I can play single player, but as soon as a connection is needed either nothing, or that message.

Are there server problems at the moment?

I have this exact same problem, and guess what ive just installed patch 1.02 about two mins ago, game was working fine before this new patch. anybody else?

Same problem here, Server has refused connection message, came on here to see if it was a server problem which it looks like

I did send an email to EA complaining about it :
When game is connecting with the account server a message appears "The server refuse the connection" with no more explanation whatsoever, I did pay for my game so I have right to enter in the server.

I am waiting for an explanation

they fixing the all unlocked weapons that zero2zero hacked though a security hole in BF2.

Think this is why the servers are down, hope im right and hope it not for long but I know 1 thing feeling a bit lost with no BF2 to play :cry:

i have faced the same problem just only.

i was playing n suddenly game just shut down.

now i try again it says "The server refuse the connection".

i downloaded patch 1.02 n installed,i upgraded my grahics drivers.

all these were useless.

Thanks for posting, but would it not have been better to to tell your BF2 players BEFORE you shut the servers, I can imagine your up to your necks trying to tweek the game, fight off the hackers and improve our gaming experiance but im sure there are lots of guys right now installing ..uninstalling..repatching..driver reinstalls etc when a post on this forum would have saved maybe a percentage from wasting time doing something that is not needed.

dam servers refusing my connection

Server has refused connection.....The dam problem came outa no where...a minute ago i was playing the darn game than i got disconnected and after like an hour of playing good ol' Chaos theory i came to play battlefield 2 and now it says SERVER HAS REFUSED CONNECTION......wtf

man EA really needs to do something about it ....You never see multiplayer issues like these with Activtion, Gearbox, Id, Mircrosoft and the BEST GAME DEVELOPERS UBISOFT.. (maybe chaos theory's coop has some bugs....But the rest is AWSOME...:p)

i just checked some servers on bf2 loader and it seems some of the servers are filling up again... thank god.

It is now August 2006, these posts were a year ago, and I just recieved my first REFUSE YO MO'FKN CONNECTION BIATCH screen.. Still looks like no one found a solution..
