Error Reading From Server

Haven't be able to login since this happend. I was on a zboard server and got "dropped" this seemed to happen to several others. I can sit on the login screen watching "Connecting to account server" for almost an hour I left it sit. I tried several times.

Hey, maybe I was playing with you then - I got the same message, and the game hangs on 'connecting to account server' forever now.

I hope it's just that the account is siezed, and it'll free up soon. . . it's been about an hour now for me.

Edit: Maybe this is related to their 'all weapons unlocked' bug/thing, and they're doing maintenance?

Yeah Lets hope I am about 2% away from corporal. I never got any unlocked weapons to begin with. Gamespy appears to be down to just as a note. I use to be on the help team and according to "[HELP]Avatar" Gamespy is down for server maintence and will be up within the hour.

Luckly, I finished my round and then it disconnected. The odd part about it is usually I disconnect back to the server browser. This time, it took me back to the log in screen. So something is going on. :nod:

I was on gulf of oman, and suddenly it says match draw as soon as the round started. Next thing i know it kick me off and says error reading server. Havent been able to connect and within the past hour.

Well one of my clan mates didn't get disconnected but reported as many as 32 people dropping from a 64 man server that was full including me being dropped. I asked him to logout and try to log back in. He couldn't connect no more, however he didn't get disconnected from the server. This Weapons Glitch that people said they had didn't happen to me. I never had any of the unlocked weapons just the medic rifle which is the gun I unlocked when I became lance corporal.

This is obvisously not just one person its on EA/Gamespys end. Gamespy is a horrible service they use annoying adds for non subscribers on their arcade. I admit their servers download speeds are real nice I can't say I'v ever gotten 900kb off any DL server but they aren't the best for server browsers. EA should of stuck with doing their own thing rather then letting gamespy take over.

totally agree. I found out like 5 years ago GS blew chunks, so I havent used it since. Just hope they get this thing back up, was looking to playing some on my only day off!

I suggest trying out the All Seeing Eye game browser - very compact and effecient.

Some fun while it lasted, I left my game logged in all day so I could get a chance to mess around with the unlocks in a more real world environment, single player unlocks just don't quite feel the same online.

i got in, but no servers. Now I can't again. I did notice that all my weapons were still unlocked. Odd.
