Does anyone have info on how much damage does each element in BF2 can take? For example, how many c4s does it take to destroy a tank, An APC etc. Or how many bullets needed to kill a spec-op vs an Engineer? Any type of info would be appreciated. Thanks

c4 does the same damage no matter where its placed on tanks. one contact c4 will drop a tank to about 3-4bars of armour.Comment

is it worth a suicide to blow up enemy will using c4???? i always seem to pull the trigger before the enemy kills me...and get a suicide point added to my suicides.Comment

If the tank is just about to kill me, I'll take my own life to kill the tank. In my eyes, a tank helps the opponent team MUCH more than me as an infantry could do to stop the enemy team.
Plus, you get -2 for suicide, and +2 for the kill, so it evens out. It's basically an easy way to take a tank out of your way.
Just make sure there isn't another Spec Op with the same idea doing it, or you'll be teamkilling, =P

I'm not as interested in vehicle damage and such as I am in location-specific damage. (Headshots, being shot in the upper body, lower body, etc.)
Anybody know about this?Comment

well if you place one c4 under an attack helicopter or any type of plane it will explode. I don't know if you place it anywhere else it will do more damage because I have only tried the bottom.Comment

LOL, It might be suprisingly difficult to lay C4 on top of the helicopter when it's airborne :p Even though that might need just a few bunny hops to accomplish that :laugh:Originally posted by Forestwell if you place one c4 under an attack helicopter or any type of plane it will explode.
