has anyone tried to login but it just sits there and you cant do **** aboot it?

yeah ive had it happen sometimes, usually what it is, is that the EA login server is either slammed or down. -
Ya just happened to me too, it kick me out of a server says it had trouble reading then when I tried to connect again, It wasnt going, so I'll go ahead and give it another try, after restarting my computer.
- Ya still not working says theres a data base error, maybe there doing something to put the unlock weapon massacre to rest.Comment

Yup, just happened here. I was on an EA official server which I hate but they seem to be the only ones updating stats, the round ended and suddenly i got a wierd message about the server has logged me off. Now whenever I try to connect my account it just sits there FOREVER like scoggs said...oh yeah, my stats haven't updated form the 2 rounds I played yet either. :hmm:Comment

That's the screen I got when the server closed out. Oh and about the closing it, you can go to your task manager (ctrl+alt+del) and go to processes and fins bf2.exe and end it. It won't let you close it in the application window.
I only made that first post about 5 min. or so ago....what's going on here?Comment

well umm seeing hoe Alt+Tab doesny work Alt+F4 doesnt work and Ctrl+Alt+Del doesnt work... so angry!Comment

Ya it didnt work for me either at first but then I had to reboot, and when I tried to reboot Ctrl+Alt+Del worked like a charm not like logging inOriginally posted by [R-Mod]Scoggs

Yea i had the same problem. I had to disconnect connection to the pc from the router and boom it comes back and says it has a error. I am going to give it a half hour and so and then try again. Probably has something to do with what happened with the weapons getting unlocked and them fixing it now.Originally posted by [R-Mod]ScoggsComment

yes this may be so, but how in the world does it come to this;
TAKE DOWN THE WHOLE SYSTEM TO FIX THE PROBLEM. there's no redundancy. no co-location.
how can you run a business like this?
