Community Update – 7/25/05

Profiles with all Weapons Unlocked

Many users logged into Battlefield 2 today to discover that they had access to all of the game's weapons unlocked in their profile. We have fixed the root issue that caused this to occur and by tomorrow morning all users will return to having access only to the weapons which they had earned. Once our solution is in place, if you find that you do not have access to weapons appropriate to your in-game rank, please direct inquiries to the Support sites linked below. In some cases users may be prompted to re-select the Unlock weapons that they are eligible for (if you are eligible for two weapons you will get to choose the two you wish to have unlocked).

Thank god for that, now i dont have to seeth with jealousy.

I have all the weapons - and so far have tried none of them. It really doesnt excite me all that much.

Maybe I'm a weird granpa and all but I'm actually happy they reset the accounts to what they should be. General unlocks messed up an already messed up game, plus I always enjoy unlocking stuff the hard way. Their unlock/stats/points system may be bashed all over the place but I (did) like it a lot, gives an rpg feel and I lub rpgs maybe that's why.

I have been deserving all weapons by BUYING THE GAME! Nobody told me that i MUST play on server that i DO NOT WANT TO JOIN = ranked servers!
to get the full functionability of the game!

to get the full functionability of the game!

play on unranked servers w/ them all unlocked then. or single player. if you wanna play on ranked servers you play by their rules, you bought the client not the server.
