Team Kills

I keep getting booted off servers for to many team kills when I haven't even killed a good or bad guy. It says I was voted off because of team killing
Is anyone else having this problem ? ? ?

Teamkills suck.

Some idiot runs infront of your jeep or gets out when you are rolling sideways down a hill and then punishes you.

Today I was shooting a stinger at an attack chopper, im not sure if i took it down but it was definatly hostile and somehow i got two team kills which i dont get, unless one of the missiles went off and hit some other heli or plane but i doubt it. They both punished me too. >

I've just had this in my chopper with a clan mate got shot up by stingers had a perfect score 0 deaths first in the server.

I hover over the chopper pad 2 smacktards jump at the chopper and purposly get themselves tked i get kick/banned they got the chopper my clanmate tells me.

Why go through all that just to get the chopper.

ive been kicked from some servers for "team kills". i think its because they want to kick you from the server for the hell of it, and since kick votes are never successfull, they just say your team killing. and yeah, its about time the chopper whores stop killing themselves, and you over the chopper. its not THAT good. when your in a chopper your one of the main targets to get shot down. just enjoy the game more than the chopper. and besides, the Cobra is a piece of ****. if they had the Apache, i just might be a chopper whore myself :)

I’ve been booted twice for excessive Team Killing; on both occasions I had just spawned at our base and ran over to fix the artillery so I had no time to kill anybody. LOL

So what options do these server whores have to kick people?

I know some kick you so it frees up a spot for a clan member or a friend.

German Servers

I've just got kicked off two German servers. Their still pissed because we kicked their ass in WW2. F--kem !

There is currently a bug in bf2, well punk buster really that kicks people for no reason.

Many times when admins kick you the message comes up as kicked for teamkilling regardless of the real reason for them kicking you.

Thats correct. I had the same.. I didnt TK anyone and i got kicked from a server.. not for the first time i must add.

Oh well it will be fixed in the patch hopefully or real reasons will be stated.

I got kicked from a server jus before the map ended, i had no team kills, my team score was 4, and my overall score was 110! I was in the black Ops Platoon server, i think the only reason why they kicked me was to get me pissed that i didnt get to see the finally score... nor getting a gold silver star. Last time i ever go to there unjust server.

Has anyone run into a bug where your own guys show up as red? I think I'm killing an enemy and it turns out to be my own guy. Then I get kicked if it happens a few times.

Do you lose any points or awards received in that match if your kicked?

I think you can also get kicked due to team vehicle damage. I was trying my hand at AA for a few rounds and found that every 10th missile or so would lose lock then home in on a friendly. Didn't actually shoot any down but got minus points in column 2. After about 5 rounds I got kicked for TK'ing, which was a bit harsh as I hadn't actually offed anyone.

Even if I had it would still be rough justice. If I'd deliberately locked on to a friendly (or their flares, you can't get a lock on a friendly vehicle itself, I think) or just loosed missiles off without a lock then it would be fair enough, but if the missile is locked on to an enemy when I fire and then goes after a friendly it's under the server AI and nothing that I can control.

There's no need for those sort of comments. Many Germans speak English and visit English forums.

Yeah i've tk'd lots of ppl that come up as enemy but are infact on my team. I told one guy that he was appearing as enemy and his response was "i know i come up red".. lol.. so if every time you spawn everyone in your team starts shooting you then perhaps you are 'bugged' and should disconnect/reconnect.
Or let everyone shoot you then punish them all..
It appears it happens to an individual person and i think i read somewhere they need to log out then back in or something.
I havent had this on the 32 player games but.. i've only had it on 64 player servers..
When they fix it they should reset the tk stats for everyone.. or at least a percentage..

yes its all too familiar .
i joined a server which i have never played on ... and after 2 minutes or less on that server i was kicked / excessive tk's .. i didnt even see an enemy or did i even shoot my gun ,ONCE !
oh well there are more and more servers everyday that i can choose from ..
BF2 rocks .
