if i leave a round in the middle do i lose the points that are gained to that point?

No, I don't think you do.

I was just playing as Commander on Karkand and kicking some ass (had around 96 points) nearing the end of the round and then my bloody connection drops out...Crap !

I could have gotten higher if it hadn't.

afaik, if you stay 5 mins or more in a server, the points get counted.

yeah 5 or more min it counts, also what ive notivced, if you get dc'ed and you come back in like3 min later (like after a windows crash and restart) you log into the same server, your points are still there. ^_^

After 5 minutes, your officially "in the game".

As stated, if you leave/reconnect your score is still there...

As long as the server finishes the round, everything is OK. However, should the server crash before the round ends...your points are lost forever.
