Dear Mr. Thompson,

I was glad when I saw your email in my inbox. But when I read its contents I was/am very angry. Why would you write that? I have done nothing to offend you, but yet you tell me to get a divorce?? Now for a man that has been married for 17 years this is very offensive. I wish that you would write back with a reason to why you have done this. My points were very logical and truthful, but yet you can't come back and explain your side? I am trying my best not to swear at you, or be an *******. But really why would you do that?

I did not bother reading the article. This has been suggested before by several other's, not here, but within the media. This guy will get no where and violent games are no different than watching Marry Poppins or Full Metal Jacket.

I've already posted this on a few forums, if someone has an account on Gamespot, IGN or any other big name videogame site I suggest you post this on one of their boards. If this gets out then Jackass Thompson will be in big trouble.

Why I am not suprised it's Thompson. Thompson is the most retardedly extreme anti-game activist I have ever seen. I can't believe anyone takes him seriously at all, this man wants to ban Sims 2 because you can remove the pixelation on the nude sims. Under the blurr the sims have doll bodies, with no real anatomy. Yet Thompson calls this pornography and I quote "like Hot Coffee, only worse" because the blur is removed from the child sims aswell.

To the original poster:
You should send Thompson's response to you to Gamespot, so that they may post it on their site and show the world how crazy Thompson really is. I still cant believe he said that.
