I don't see why people have problems with GTA and other games. Yes, they aren't meant for children, but they shouldn't be able to get them. That's the parents responsibility.

For most people (read: not mentally defective) GTA is just a game. May even help relieve stress. Who plays GTA and gets the idea that it's ok to run around gunning down police, stealing multiple cars every day, running people over with thier cars?

Just like BattleField 2, i play it and enjoy it. But i don't get the urge to run around in camo, stalking people and slicing them up, or planting explosives in vehicles and waiting for someone to get in.

This thread takes me back to when tipper gore tried to ban dirty music like twisted sister for its lyrics and what not. I can name a few games that caused controversy. As for banning video games hell no! How would EA make their money to steal from us?

This is rediculous. There is a fairly new rating system in place already. Movies that have violence in them and are rated would have to go as well if you have logic like this moron. I wouldn't worry so much, kids. This will never happen.

If video games confuses us with real life, we would all be running around in city blocks wrecking havoc already. In short, PAC MAN would influence us to run around in darkened room eating magic pills. (yeah stole that phrase somewhere xD)
