every half an hour i play bf2, the game freezes for 1 second, the my cd drive runs like hell for about 5 minutes. When the drive stops running like mad my bf2 either works fine or it either freezes and i have to shut down my whole computer improperly. Sometimes the game even just randomly freezes when the cd drive isnt doing anything or when im just regularly playing...
this started happening after i installed two new sticks of ram. I already checked all of the specs of the ram to ensure its compatibility with my mobo so im assuming this is a problem with the game.. im no sure.. is anyone else experiencing similar problems?
