Nice, but THIS...The M107 is the Army's first semi-automatic .50 Cal sniper weapon system.....confused me, I thought there was also M82

Fix the M-95 and it's spec's in the game first. Really the unnaccurate way it's set up to in the game and the tiny dmg. it's doing when you hit (except headshot). Honestly! Beening hit by a 50 cal. weapon anywhere in the body will in the most cases kill you.

As the M-107 these weapons are made for far distances, and to use the M-95 in the game is not more effective than the M-24.

Fix this and I'll welcome the M-107 with open arms.

If it was one shot kill snipers would be way too affective and they would be picking off people all day easily, it will usually take all health away down to 2 bars. That pretty good, I think the damage is fine as it is make it a head shot if you want a one hit kill, but I advise to hit once with your 50. and once with a pistol it works wonders.

The ear guards mentioned is interesting. Would be cool if snipers in BF2 had ear protectors they can toggle on and off to stop the rifle causing that 'shell-shock' effect. but then the ear guards also make it impossible to hear anything else (making it harder to hear enemies approaching etc.).

This would be a useful balancing tool.

One hit kill would make it too easy for snipers...two body hits at and range is fairly easy for a practiced sniper. Headshots are a different matter ofcourse.

Pistols very useful. Useful even at medium ranges with a high rate of fire.

One thing people ALWAYS forget about snipers when complaining about them being overpowered is that snipers are almost always alone, miles away from anyone else. So if you get shot youre unlikely to get revived and ammo is always a long way away. Its a subtle but important thing to note.

its meant to be modern combat blah blah so they would most likely have sound baffling electronic ear muffs.

Wow, effective range of up to 2000 meters. That's almost 1.25 miles!

That was cool. Sniper balancing is fine. Remember this is a game and not a simulator.
