Not hearing/saying anything with headset.

Alright, I'm not getting this... are there LOTS of servers without VOIP enabled? I sorted the ones I go to so that the "battle comm" is selected... that means communication doesn't it? I haven't heard a single word spoken, and I don't believe anyone else has heard a word I've said. whenever I hit b, or v to speak, the speaker almost immediately turns to the cracked red. The biggest question I have, is why I hear nothing other people are saying, what gives?

My mic is plugged in and everything, I've tested it in the diagnostics n' such, but nothing comes out, and I hear nothing...

So what do I do guys?

There seems to be an issue (related to the other sound problems) that causes this not to work sometimes.

Some people say if you go into DxDiag, and turn the sound acceleration to basic, it will work. To do this go

Start > Run > type "dxdiag" (a box will come up, hit yes)

Once it has loaded, select the Audio tab from the top, and then slide the "Audio Acceleration" to basic. Restart the computer, and hop ingame.
